Hello,
The Brandie Rose Foundation held our inaugural golf outing on 8/15/08. This event came off without a hitch and it seemed all of our guests, golfers and diners alike, our volunteers and our members all had a ton of fun. What a beautiful day it turned out to be, barely a cloud in the sky. I think Brandie was watching with a grin on her face providing us with a great group of people and some wonderful Northern Michigan weather.
Many thanks and much appreciation goes out to Billy and the staff of the Crown, without you fine folks we would have never been able to pull this off, THANK YOU!
I personally had a great time riding around with our photographers Lindsay and Tia, although I think Ron from TC State Bank needs to spend a little more time with Tia honing her putting skills and yes Tia, they really do yell "FORE" on the golf course, Thanks Doug for that little scare.
Many thanks to all the volunteers (who have been nicknamed The Purple People by many passing golfers) for sticking out such a long day and putting such a great effort forward, you Purple People really are our backbone.
I am already looking forward to planning next years golf outing which is going to be dubbed The Brandie Rose Foundation presents the "B" the Ball Golf Outing, I truly hope to see everyone who golfed and/or joined us for dinner there next year, you all really were a fun group to share this outing with. See you at the Brandie Rose Foundations 2nd annual snowmobile run (TBA).
