Our Director, Liz Courtad is so pleased to have been formally invited to join Tamika and Friends for their inaugural Cervical Cancer Day on the Hill on January 26 - 27, 2010 in Washington, DC, during National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. She's been invited to participate in a discussion about cervical cancer/HPV, the new screening guidelines and the need for increased funding for cervical cancer prevention, detection and treatment. For too long cervical cancer has been ignored and this is a chance to come together and make sure that those who represent us understand our unique needs. No other woman should lose her fertility or die from cervical cancer. While there have been many advances there is still so much more to be done.
