Hi!
My name is Nicole Kluth and I am 12 years old.
My mom, Brandie Rose was the best mom and the best friend any girl could ever have. I lost my mom to cervical cancer on July 2, 2007. I love her so much and will miss her forever!
I know that my mom was worried I would get cervical cancer someday. So even though I was scared to get a shot, my Grandma took me to the doctor to get the vaccine for cervical cancer. The vaccine is called Gardasil.
I thought it would hurt, but it didn’t. You should ask your Mom or Grandma to take you to the doctor to get vaccinated. The commercials on T.V. say “Be One Less” person to get cervical cancer. I want to “Be One Less” person.
I know my Mom is smiling because I have people who love me so much they want to make sure I’ll be okay, and that I won’t get cervical cancer when I grow up.
